A hybrid experimental biography/fiction film of Jibanananda Das, a Bengali poet, writer, novelist and essayist, known as the “most alone of poets”. Through complex web of various narratives based on autobiographical aspects of Das’ short stories, the film will explore his life, memory, obsession, solitude, poems and death. With recitations of his poignant poems, the film casts light on his peculiar solitude and quest for the eternal in his radical literary form.
